The UNEP-International Ecosystem Management Partnership (UNEP-IEMP) is the first UNEP Collaborating Centre in the South and for the South mobilizing science to support policy setting for sustainable ecosystem management in all developing countries. It has been mandated to supporting UNEP’s Ecosystem Management and Climate Change Sub-programmes, promoting a green economy and enhancing South-South cooperation.
UNEP-IEMP hosts the project management unit of the EbA South project.
This report summarizes UNEP-IEMP's achievements. It includes the results of the EbA South project, which in 2015 completed its second year of operations and kicked off on-the-ground EbA interventions in the three pilot countries – Mauritania, Nepal and Seychelles.
